Is this for me?

Who this programme is built for.

This programme is designed for one type of person: an adult who needs to pass matric maths and has the determination to do it properly. We build the entire experience around your reality — not a classroom timetable.

You left school before finishing matric
Life happened. Now you are ready to complete it on your terms.
You passed matric but maths pulled your symbol down
An upgraded maths result can unlock degree programmes and career paths that were previously closed.
You are 21 or older and considering the NASCA route
The programme explicitly prepares for the NASCA Mathematics examination in addition to the standard NSC.
You tried before but lacked structure
YouTube and PDFs are not programmes. This is a month-by-month structure with accountability at every stage.
You are self-employed and study around your schedule
The platform is fully online and available 24/7. No live sessions required.
NSC vs NASCA

Two pathways to matric maths. This programme prepares for both.

NSC
National Senior Certificate
Minimum age
Any age
Examination body
Department of Basic Education (DBE) via a registered examination centre.
Mathematics paper
Mathematics (or Mathematical Literacy) — 3-hour Papers 1 and 2.
Recognition
Most common route. Recognised by all universities and employers in South Africa.
NASCA
National Senior Certificate for Adults
Minimum age
21 and older
Examination body
UMALUSI-registered Adult Education and Training (AET) centres.
Mathematics paper
Mathematics — structured specifically for adult learners.
Recognition
Specifically designed for adults. Recognised by most universities. Same CAPS Mathematics curriculum.

Important: The Continuum is a preparation platform, not an examination body. You will register to write your exam through a DBE examination centre (NSC) or a UMALUSI-registered AET centre (NASCA). We prepare you for the exam — you choose where you write it.

The 10-Month Journey

One topic per month. One test per topic. No gaps left behind.

Each month ends with an exam-level topic test. Score below 60% and the platform assigns a targeted remediation pathway before unlocking the next module. Progress is earned, not assumed.

09
Differential Calculus
Limits, derivatives, rules of differentiation, curve sketching, optimisation problems.
10
Mock Exams + Exam Technique

How Assessment Works

Accountability built into the structure.

01
Month 1 Diagnostic

Before any teaching begins, a comprehensive diagnostic test maps your existing knowledge and identifies every gap across the full CAPS curriculum.

02
Monthly Topic Tests

After each module, you write a timed, exam-level test. Questions are structured exactly as they appear in NSC Paper 1 and Paper 2.

03
60% Pass Threshold

Score 60% or above to unlock the next module. Score below 60% and the platform assigns targeted remediation — you do not advance until the gaps are closed.

04
Two Full Mock Exams

Month 10 contains two full NSC-format mock examinations under timed conditions. Worked solutions are provided for every question.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Can I do matric maths as an adult in South Africa?

Yes. Adults of any age can write the NSC Mathematics examination. Adults 21+ may also qualify for the NASCA route. This programme prepares you for both.

What is the difference between NSC and NASCA matric?

The NSC is the standard National Senior Certificate, available to learners of any age. The NASCA is specifically for adults 21+ through UMALUSI-registered AET centres. Both require Mathematics. Our programme prepares you for either pathway.

Do I need any prior maths knowledge to start?

No. Month 1 begins with a full diagnostic assessment that pinpoints your exact gaps before any new content begins.

What topics does the 10-month programme cover?

The complete CAPS Mathematics curriculum: Algebra, Equations & Inequalities, Functions & Graphs, Euclidean Geometry, Trigonometry, Analytical Geometry, Finance, Statistics, Sequences & Series, and Calculus — plus 2 full mock exams.

Is there a test after each topic?

Yes. After each monthly topic you write an exam-level test. A 60% pass threshold applies. Falling below 60% triggers a targeted remediation path before you advance.

Are mock exams included?

Yes. Two full NSC-format mock exams are included in Month 10, with complete worked solutions and timed examination conditions.

Can I work at my own pace?

The programme has monthly milestones to keep you on track for the exam. Within each month, content is available 24/7 and you set your own schedule.
